What you will do

• Lead the IT Engineering team, balancing hands-on technical work with mentoring, project planning, and hiring.
• Secure endpoints, offices, networks, and SaaS tools in collaboration with Security and Operations teams.
• Manage enterprise-scale IT systems with an automation-first mindset.
• Oversee office buildouts and the management of network equipment.
• Maintain company compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar security standards.

Requirements

• Experience leading or mentoring IT Engineering or Technical Operations teams.
• Strong hands-on background in IT Engineering, Technical Operations, or a DevOps-adjacent role.
• Proficiency with IAM technologies (SAML, SCIM, OIDC) and tools such as Okta and Google Workspace.
• Expertise with MDM tooling (e.g., Jamf, Kandji, Fleet) across a device fleet.
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash to automate compliance and configuration tasks.
• Experience managing office network equipment (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti).
• Remote: Available globally; must be able to align with core hours (2pm to 6pm GMT).

Nice to have

• Experience implementing corporate security controls or previous security role experience.
• Hands-on experience with VPNs, firewalls, and Zero Trust networking.
• Experience with OSquery and Santa.
• Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
• Open source contributions.
