TL;DR

Senior Accounts Payable Specialist (Finance): Processing a high volume of invoices and managing vendor relationships with an accent on compliance and payment accuracy. Focus on coordinating payment cycles, resolving purchase order discrepancies, and performing vendor reconciliations.

Location: Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) and based in Westminster, CO

Salary: $20.63 - $30.25 hourly

What you will do

  • Process high-volume incoming invoices for multiple entities in compliance with purchasing policies.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Team to resolve purchase order discrepancies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Generate payment cycles in coordination with Treasury and cash forecasts.
  • Manage the customer support mailbox for payment-related inquiries from colleagues and customers.
  • Perform vendor reconciliations and prepare audit requests to support the accounting team.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
  • HS Diploma or GED.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting/accounts payable.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP software.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of international bill processing, payment, and sales/use tax.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience communicating with senior management.
