Technical Delegate (Automotive)

Location: Sud Ouest, France; field-based position with missions across Europe

Salary: €46,000–€50,000 per year

What you will do

• Execute field and remote technical assistance missions for dealerships, authorized repairers, and technical centers.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, electronic, multiplexing, drivability, and network communication faults.
• Use OEM diagnostic tools for guided diagnostics, software updates, ECU programming, coding, reprogramming, and parameterization.
• Analyze vehicle-level and cross-fleet issues, identify root causes, and define containment and corrective actions.
• Produce technical reports, incident summaries, repair instructions, action plans, and knowledge articles.
• Coordinate and coach multidisciplinary repair teams, provide on-the-job training, and manage cases through closure.

Requirements

• Professional experience in automotive technical support, diagnostics, dealership workshops, field service, or OEM/importer technical assistance.
• Hands-on experience resolving complex electrical and electronic faults using OEM diagnostic platforms, including wiTECH POD and DiagBOX VCI.
• Strong knowledge of powertrain, chassis, ADAS, body electronics, CAN/LIN/FlexRay, and applicable high-voltage systems.
• Experience with wiring diagrams, service procedures, fault-tree and root-cause analysis, DTCs, live data, bus diagnostics, and software calibration or flashing.
• Good written and spoken English required; additional European languages are advantageous.
• Ability to work in a field-based role in France and travel across Europe, with safe and autonomous operation at multiple sites.
