What you will do

  • Lead ISO 26262 functional safety assessments for hardware semiconductor products, including SoCs.
  • Manage technical peer reviews for projects at the request of business line or project safety managers.
  • Support system safety solution development, including safety requirements, architecture, and safety concepts.
  • Perform safety analyses such as FTA, FMEA, DFA, FMEDA, and data-flow analysis.
  • Drive innovation topics that influence future SoC and IC designs.
  • Strengthen the functional safety culture across organizational boundaries and contribute to standardization initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience developing hardware or semiconductor safety products for automotive applications.
  • Intimate knowledge of ISO 26262 or another relevant safety standard.
  • Proficiency with safety-related semiconductor products such as SoCs, MCUs, or MPUs.
  • Experience with requirements-driven processes and understanding of supplier and OEM responsibilities for product safety.
  • Recognized technical leadership, stakeholder influence, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with 10 years of industry experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering, safety assessments, confirmation reviews, or verification reviews.
