Installation Engineer - Europe (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Bernin, France; installation work across Europe with approximately 75% travel. Relocation is not available.

Salary: €38,400–€52,800 per year

What you will do

• Install semiconductor production equipment, including mechanical assembly, electrical connections, and robot calibration.
• Integrate, inspect, test, and troubleshoot equipment before handover to service teams and customers.
• Follow installation procedures, checklists, schematics, security policies, and quality standards.
• Communicate equipment status, factory issues, pass-downs, work hours, and non-conformances.
• Participate in escalation calls and continuous improvement projects focused on installation time and cost reduction.
• Travel extensively across Europe and occasionally support installations worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, electronics, mechatronics, equipment installation, maintenance, or a related technical field.
• Junior candidates are welcome.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills for system installation.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage installation projects within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
