EC&I QA/QC Inspector (Engineering)

What you will do

• Inspect and assess the installation of E&I systems in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
• Ensure adherence to the approved Project Quality Plan, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Conduct visual inspections of E&I equipment and materials, recording any defects or damage.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to resolve identified deviations and ensure compliance.
• Review and interpret cable schedules, block diagrams, SLD, Loop drawings, and PIDs for proper installation.
• Witness testing of equipment, including instrument calibration, cable insulation tests, and loop tests.

Requirements

• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations (City & Guilds or Equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent level 3 qualification.
• CompEx Ex01-04 certification.
• 18th edition wiring regulations (BS7671).
• Ability to work onsite at the PUMA project offices in Kingston Upon Hull.

Nice to have

• CompEx EX05-06 certification.
