What you will do
- Act as technical lead for assigned nuclear equipment systems and coordinate with project management, site inspectors, surveyors, suppliers, clients, and joint-venture stakeholders.
- Chair kick-off and pre-inspection meetings and contribute to project reporting, risk tracking, and scope planning.
- Review and approve technical specifications, quality plans, intervention plans, inspection reports, and release documentation.
- Plan and monitor inspections, coordinate inspector requirements, and supervise surveyor and inspector activities.
- Manage areas of concern, corrective actions, NANs, and NCRs through resolution and closeout.
- Conduct equipment inspections, witness commissioning and acceptance trials, support supply-chain audits, and maintain required authorisation codes.
Requirements
- Experience and technical competency in nuclear equipment inspection and assurance.
- Ability to lead technical scopes covering major, intermediate, and minor equipment assemblies.
- Experience reviewing technical specifications, quality plans, inspection requirements, and certification documentation.
- Ability to coordinate suppliers, clients, inspectors, surveyors, and joint-venture stakeholders.
- Capability to manage risks, areas of concern, corrective actions, NANs, and NCRs.
- Ability to conduct inspections and witness commissioning and acceptance trials in accordance with applicable authorisations.
