TL;DR

Sales Engineer (Software): Serving as a technical advisor throughout the sales cycle to help customers understand solution value with an accent on technical evaluations and solution design. Focus on conducting discovery, executing proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, and translating technical concepts into business value.

Location: Must be based in the USA (Remote, hybrid, or onsite options available in FL)

What you will do

  • Partner with Sales teams to support customer engagements and drive revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct discovery conversations and present tailored product demonstrations to prospective customers.
  • Execute proof-of-concept (POC) engagements that showcase technical capabilities and business value.
  • Analyze customer requirements to recommend solutions that maximize business outcomes.
  • Prepare and contribute to technical RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams by gathering and providing customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Technical Consulting.
  • Proven success in supporting sales organizations and influencing technical buying decisions.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions.
  • Background in consulting or professional services.
  • Experience supporting channel ecosystems like MSPs, VARs, TSPs, or OEMs.
