What you will do

• Own the end-to-end transformation of Fleet Ops target architecture across the full vehicle lifecycle.
• Define and sequence the strategic roadmap, arbitrating trade-offs and investment decisions.
• Build the canonical data and event backbone while driving the decommissioning of legacy systems.
• Lead strategic forums and align executive stakeholders, including the executive committee and country GMs.
• Establish and lead capability-aligned, end-to-end teams with accountable leadership.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in both product judgment (problem framing, prioritization) and engineering credibility (system design, event architecture).
• Proven experience in legacy modernization, specifically migrating real systems off mainframes at scale.
• Strong capability in strategic execution and managing complex, multi-team roadmaps.
• Ability to translate platform and technical decisions into business language for executive stakeholders.
• Fluent English required.
• Must be based in or able to work in Munich/Pullach, Germany.
