Manager, Software Engineering (Java/Kotlin)

Engineering Manager (Java/Kotlin): Leading the Algorithmic Pricing squad to build and maintain a high-throughput pricing service for 60+ countries with an accent on low-latency distributed systems and scalable architecture. What you will do

• Lead the Algorithmic Pricing squad and support engineers' personal and career growth.
• Ensure high reliability and low latency for a system powering delivery fees across 60+ countries.
• Collaborate with product counterparts to provide technical direction and design iterative solutions.
• Own tech metrics, KPIs, tracking, and alerting for the team.
• Oversee the execution of functionalities in small, value-driven iterations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a technical guide/manager aligning with business goals.
• Strong understanding of JVM technologies (Java/Kotlin).
• Experience with microservices, API-based, and event-based communication.
• Knowledge of IaaC, specifically Kubernetes and AWS.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and dependencies.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with A/B testing.
• Experience in Pricing domains.
• Ability to be hands-on to support junior developers.
