Senior Manager, Software Engineering (AI): Leading the Tech Foundation team to build and scale Herogen, an autonomous AI software delivery agent, with an accent on agentic design and system integration. Focus on increasing the complexity and volume of autonomous pull requests and expanding agent capabilities across global engineering workflows.

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany (2 days a week on-site)

What you will do

• Scale user adoption of Herogen via native integration with brand environments and co-authoring features.
• Integrate AI agents into core workflows, including Slack and other engineering tools, to accelerate platform usage.
• Expand agent capabilities to handle complex tasks spanning multiple repositories.
• Advance specialized agent skills utilizing Open Application Model (OAM) and Open Telemetry.
• Improve code quality and reliability through the Agent Council and integration of multiple development sources.
• Optimize build environments and runtimes across backend, mobile, and web to provide deep architectural context.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading and nurturing engineering teams in high-innovation environments.
• Deep expertise in building, scaling, and hardening autonomous or semi-autonomous software agents.
• Proven experience integrating complex development tools and designing data processing pipelines.
• Strong product-oriented mindset with the ability to influence senior organizational stakeholders.
• Commitment to software quality with hands-on experience implementing quality gates.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Berlin, Germany
