What you will do

• Lead cross-functional App teams and empower engineers throughout the full product lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise while contributing to the hiring process.
• Mentor team members in their professional and personal growth.
• Guide the team in creating and deploying software solutions for complex, undefined problems.
• Foster a culture of experiment-driven innovation and teamwork.
• Improve developer experience by reducing tech-debt and automating documentation and runbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in fast-paced, scalable environments.
• 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional agile teams working on distributed systems.
• Must be based in Germany.
• Effective communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience in climate tech or the energy industry.

• Proficiency in German.
