What you will do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive vertical account plan for the ANZ BFSI market to meet sales metrics.
- Drive end-to-end, value-driven enterprise sales cycles with major banks and financial institutions.
- Implement "land and expand" strategies to identify new high-value workloads and scale adoption within existing accounts.
- Hunt for new logos within mid-tier banking, wealth management, and fintech sectors.
- Coordinate cross-functional squads, including Pre-Sales and Customer Success, to deliver impactful Proofs of Value (POVs).
- Manage rigorous deal tracking and accurate forecasting within Salesforce.com.
Requirements
- Must be based in Sydney, Australia.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, specifically focused on the Australian and New Zealand BFSI vertical.
- Proven track record of selling complex technical solutions or data platforms into major banks.
- Experience executing structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or value-based selling.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Deep domain expertise and existing C-level relationships within the BFSI vertical.
- Experience selling cloud-native data architectures, NoSQL databases, or AI/ML infrastructure.
- Understanding of APRA regulatory and data sovereignty frameworks governing the ANZ financial sector.
- Success co-selling with public cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and global systems integrators.
