System Design Engineer – Embedded Software Expert (Thermal Management) (Automotive)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded application software for vehicle thermal management systems.
• Perform requirements analysis, software architecture, implementation, documentation, testing, and verification.
• Develop control strategies for coolant loops and thermal management applications across ICE, BEV, and fuel cell platforms.
• Lead system engineering activities, support technical decisions, and contribute to concept development and technical roadmaps.
• Integrate software components, perform functional verification, system tuning, and calibration before release.
• Analyze simulation, rig, and vehicle test results while collaborating with testing, validation, electromobility, and system engineering teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 8 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong experience in embedded software design, implementation, control strategies, and software verification.
• Hands-on experience with functional verification, system tuning, and calibration.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering and the embedded software development lifecycle.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
