Focus on drafting high-value agreements, overseeing global legal risk management, and advising on emerging technology laws.

Location: Hybrid (London, UK) - working 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Lead complex, high-value commercial matters and close strategic customer, partner, and supplier agreements.
• Draft and negotiate technology contracts, including SaaS, software licensing, and channel partnerships globally.
• Oversee global legal risk management, developing the risk register and driving mitigation plans.
• Lead data protection and privacy compliance for UK and EU GDPR in collaboration with Information Security.
• Advise on software licensing models, open-source considerations, and technology-related regulations, particularly AI.
• Support corporate activity, including M&A, business transformation, and the company secretarial function.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with approximately 4+ years' PQE.
• Strong experience in commercial law within a technology-focused environment.
• Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating SaaS and complex bespoke contracts.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to partner effectively across all levels of the business.
• Must be based in or able to work from the London office (hybrid).

Nice to have

• In-house experience within a B2B software or SaaS business.
• Experience advising on AI and emerging technologies.
• Exposure to international commercial transactions across EMEA, APAC, and North America.
• Knowledge of financial services or highly regulated technology environments.
