What you will do
- Advise on the full lifecycle of UK and EMEA employment matters, including hiring, contracts, contractor classification, performance management, restructurings, and exits.
- Support employment disputes, settlement negotiations, ACAS Early Conciliation, employment tribunal claims, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace investigations.
- Draft and maintain employment templates and policies across UK and EMEA jurisdictions.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and implement updates to employment practices and processes.
- Support transformation projects, corporate transactions, due diligence, integrations, reorganisations, and TUPE-related matters.
- Develop employment law training and provide practical guidance to managers, People teams, Compliance, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 6+ years of UK employment law experience, with exposure to employment law matters across multiple EMEA jurisdictions.
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales in good standing.
- Strong knowledge of the Employment Rights Act, Equality Act, Working Time Regulations, and TUPE.
- Experience advising on employee relations, disciplinary and grievance matters, performance management, and workplace investigations.
- Strong drafting, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to provide clear, practical, commercially focused advice to non-legal stakeholders.
