What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, specifically Cloud services, SaaS, channel partner, and professional services contracts.
• Provide practical commercial legal advice to internal EMEA stakeholders to ensure alignment with risk management and company processes.
• Collaborate with Data Privacy, Security, and Product Counsel on contractual, regulatory, and AI product compliance matters.
• Support RFP responses from a legal perspective to drive business growth.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting cloud software and maintain internal templates and playbooks.

Requirements

• Law degree from an accredited UK or EU law school.
• Licensed to practice law in England & Wales or an EU jurisdiction, with experience in contracts governed by English law.
• 2–3 years PQE in TMT law at a reputable firm or equivalent in-house experience, particularly with SaaS agreements.
• Substantive knowledge of intellectual property law as it applies to cloud services.
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex workloads independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of competition law in a technology context and the EU Data Act.
• Understanding of AI regulations (EU AI Act) and financial services regulations (DORA, EBA, PRA).
• Experience negotiating SaaS agreements with public sector clients or financial institutions.
• Experience negotiating agreements in the Middle East or Nordics.
• Proficiency in Italian, French, Spanish, or German.
