What you will do

• Partner with AI centers of excellence to implement risk-based approaches for AI tool adoption.
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including those for AI tools, marketing, and IT services.
• Advise on data protection and privacy matters related to commercial agreements.
• Protect intellectual property interests and manage litigation risks across the business.
• Provide ad hoc training to legal and business teams on evolving legal and technical environments.
• Collaborate with international legal teams to ensure compliance with UK and EU regulations.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of PQE or equivalent experience in a similar in-house role.
• Qualified to practice law in the UK or equivalent jurisdiction.
• Strong knowledge of UK and EU laws, including data protection regulations.
• Proven experience in AI implementation and understanding of relevant technologies.
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial and IT/technology contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
