Corporate Counsel (Fintech)

What you will do

• Provide broad in-house commercial legal advice to hirify.global business units across the EMEA financial technology business.
• Review, prepare, and negotiate software, SaaS, public cloud, professional services, outsourcing, and information services agreements.
• Advise on software licensing, AI, data security, privacy, technology development, and regulatory matters.
• Support sales teams and business colleagues on legal issues related to hirify.global products and services.
• Advise on client relationships, including commercial contract disputes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, external counsel, clients, and the wider hirify.global legal team.

Requirements

• Fully qualified lawyer with an undergraduate qualification from a leading university.
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in a high-quality law firm or in-house environment.
• Strong understanding of corporate and commercial contract matters.
• Experience drafting commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, data processing agreements, and partnership agreements.
• Strong analytical, advisory, communication, negotiation, drafting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, build effective relationships, collaborate across teams, and use technology tools in daily legal work.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial technology or working with financial institutions on technology matters.
• Knowledge of DORA terms.
