TL;DR

Privacy Manager (Healthtech): Own and improve privacy frameworks, lead DPIA processes, and ensure NHS Information Governance compliance for a healthtech SaaS platform. Focus on driving privacy culture, managing data protection queries, and enabling product and engineering teams to build compliant solutions.

Location: Hybrid in London (Shoreditch), must be based in the United Kingdom

Salary: £65,000–£80,000 + equity up to £15,000

What you will do

  • Own and maintain privacy frameworks including ROPA, data mapping, and third-party risk programs.
  • Lead Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new products and features.
  • Manage NHS Information Governance compliance and lead DSPT submissions.
  • Provide expert advice on data protection and information governance queries across the business.
  • Conduct vendor privacy reviews and handle complex individual rights requests.
  • Design and deliver privacy training and awareness to build a strong privacy culture.

Requirements

  • Must have 4+ years experience in privacy or data protection, ideally in healthtech or NHS IG.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GDPR, DPA 2018, and PECR applied to SaaS products.
  • Experience building or maintaining privacy frameworks such as ROPA, DPIA, and third-party risk management.
  • Ability to work independently and make confident decisions with appropriate escalation.
  • Clear communication skills to translate legal requirements into practical guidance.
  • Holding or working towards recognized privacy certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM, ISEB BCS).
