What you will do

• Manage international 24x7 multi-site production infrastructure, including deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Provision and scale production services across hybrid cloud environments using a cloud-first mentality.
• Utilize AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to write, debug, and optimize infrastructure-as-code and automation scripts.
• Root-cause complex performance and scaling issues involving network, hardware, and software.
• Ensure proper monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning within the production environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Product Operations to improve automation and orchestration platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and tuning Linux systems in high-volume, multi-cloud/multi-datacenter environments.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible, and scripting languages like Python and Bash.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure) and virtualization platforms (KVM, VMware vSphere, ESXi).
• Knowledge of observability technologies such as Open Telemetry and Prometheus.
• Strong understanding of industry-standard foundation technologies: TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SMTP, and LDAP.
• Experience with operational practices including change management, incident management, and working in colocation datacenters.

• Experience with containers and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
