What you will do

• Maintain and own critical high-volume manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency.
• Conduct tests and measurements to monitor process parameters like critical dimensions and defectivity.
• Implement process and equipment modifications to enhance safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Drive the growth of in-situ manufacturing capacity and transfer knowledge to global counterparts.
• Oversee equipment installation, conversion, and qualification during factory ramps.
• Develop excursion prevention systems to detect and address process discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience (or Master's with 2+ years, or PhD with 0 years).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and process characterization techniques.
• Demonstrated experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills focused on process improvement and defect reduction.
• Must be able to work on-site in Penang, Malaysia.
