What you will do
- Lead strategic sourcing activities for complex initiatives, including competitive sourcing processes and high-value contract negotiations.
- Drive category assessments (spend analysis, demand forecasting, market intelligence, and risk evaluation) and enterprise spend management aligned to financial goals.
- Develop and manage sourcing strategies (RFI/RFP/RFQ), analyze responses, perform cost/benefit analyses, and negotiate optimal price and terms.
- Build and maintain reporting and decision support using advanced analytics and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to measure KPIs and value delivery.
- Manage supplier and GPO relationships: supplier performance scorecards, business reviews, advisory board representation, and contract lifecycle support.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, Value Analysis, Operations, TIS, legal) to ensure savings validation, compliance, and effective contract handoff and implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, data science, or a clinical discipline, plus at least 7 years of sourcing experience (or equivalent education and work experience).
- Thorough knowledge of supply chain principles and practices with demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis.
- Advanced data analytics and procurement skills, including intermediate to advanced Excel and experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to run multiple complex analyses (e.g., TCO, EVC, NPV) and translate results into recommendations.
- Knowledge of contract law and regulations; ability to work with internal legal counsel on system contracting.
- Ability to operate independently, manage multiple changing priorities, and communicate complex findings clearly to stakeholders and suppliers.
