What you will do

• Develop and execute a strategic vision for procurement and operational excellence to maximize firm value.
• Lead contract negotiations and supplier management to ensure the best possible pricing and terms.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process from request to delivery, including issuing POs and tracking shipments.
• Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and partner with stakeholders to create Statements of Work.
• Institute policies and reporting metrics to reduce costs while increasing productivity.
• Collaborate with legal and infosec teams to ensure compliance with regulations and appropriate contract terms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in sourcing/strategic procurement, focusing on indirect spend and market data.
• Experience managing and implementing processes for Market Data, Indexes, and Exchanges.
• Proficiency with Procure-to-Pay solutions; Oracle is preferred (Ariba, Coupa, or Zycus also helpful).
• Strong experience in contract strategy and execution across multiple categories (MSAs, SOWs).
• Must be based in or able to work in Austin or Charlotte.

Nice to have

• CPM, PMP, or APICS certifications.
• Project management experience.
• Experience in Financial Services or related industries.
