EL EMEA Category Specialist – Indirect Materials & Services (Procurement)

What you will do

• Develop and execute category strategies for indirect materials and services (Marketing, Professional services, IS, etc.).
• Manage stakeholder relationships and align procurement activities with business needs.
• Lead sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, RFQs, and eAuctions to scout for innovative suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance ensuring compliance with ESG and sustainability goals.
• Champion digital transformation by integrating AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) and tools like SAP Ariba and Power BI into procurement.
• Monitor supply chain and cybersecurity risks to ensure business continuity and compliance.

Requirements

• University degree in business or engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, category management or related fields.
• Must be based in one of the European locations (including the UK).
• English: C1 (Fluent) required.
• Advanced proficiency with SAP Ariba, Apadua, Keelvar, Power BI, and MS Excel.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools for professional automation and innovation.
