What you will do

  • Identify, qualify, and close new government clients within the assigned territory.
  • Manage the end-to-end renewal process to achieve high logo retention targets.
  • Convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities through consultative, data-driven conversations.
  • Establish and maintain trusted partnerships with council CEOs and senior decision-makers.
  • Develop compelling proposals and manage government procurement processes, including tenders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver client outcomes and inform product direction.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally in SaaS, data, or analytics.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales and retention targets.
  • Experience selling to or working within government sectors or understanding of government procurement.
  • Ability to manage a large portfolio of accounts while building new pipeline.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, preferably HubSpot.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills.
