What you will do

• Design expressive, visually compelling features for AI-powered news, discovery, and personalization experiences.
• Own end-to-end design for assigned features from concept development through final engineering handoff.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and content strategists to define problems and explore solutions.
• Create interactive prototypes in Figma and lightweight coded prototypes to validate design ideas.
• Work within established design systems to ensure cohesive, scalable, and pixel-perfect execution.
• Present work in design reviews and articulate design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of professional experience designing consumer-facing digital products.
• Strong portfolio showcasing polished visual design, interaction flows, and prototyping skills.
• Must be based in the United States due to company operational requirements.
• Proficiency in Figma, component systems, and complex design systems.
• At least 1 year of experience with lightweight coded prototyping or front-end technologies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, iterative product environment.

Nice to have

• Experience designing AI-powered or personalized content-consumption experiences.
• Experience with motion design tools like After Effects, Principle, or Lottie.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools such as MidJourney, DALL·E, or Figma Make.
• Experience designing for high-traffic consumer products at scale.
