TL;DR

Senior Business Development Manager (LegalTech): Driving strategic partnerships and growth initiatives for a leading legal AI platform with an accent on deal structuring, GTM alignment, and ecosystem expansion. Focus on building high-value pipelines, negotiating complex agreements, and collaborating across product and engineering teams to maximize revenue and market impact.

Location: Hybrid (Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, NYC) or Remote (USA/Canada). Local employees are expected to be in the office at least twice per week.

Salary: $135,600 – $203,600 CAD

What you will do

  • Identify and build a pipeline of high-value strategic partnerships across third-party apps, GTM, and content partners.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to evaluate build-buy-partner opportunities and inform product development.
  • Work with Marketing and Channel teams to bundle and sell partner solutions alongside hirify.global’s core offerings.
  • Develop and execute monetization strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize partnership value.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Mentor and inspire a team of Business Development and Partnership Managers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a strategic leader in partnerships or business development within a SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of negotiating complex deal structures and managing partnership dynamics.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights and build defensible business cases.
  • Ability to operate at a strategic level while driving tactical execution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships at all levels.
  • Experience working in small, high-performing teams with outsized impact.
