TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Washington, D.C. and able to work on-site 4 days per week

What you will do

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including stand-ups, planning, grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage sprint execution, track task ownership, and maintain sprint board accuracy in Jira.
• Partner with the Product Owner to refine backlogs and break down user stories.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for sprint status visibility and reporting.
• Coordinate documentation deliverables and manage ServiceNow tickets integrated with Jira.
• Act as an agile culture carrier, setting standards for communication and task completion.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance required
• 5-8 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an IT or software delivery environment.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification.
• Proficiency with Jira for story writing and sprint tracking.
• Must be able to work on-site in Washington, D.C. 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud providers.
• Familiarity with federal IT security frameworks like NIST 800-53 or FedRAMP.
• Experience with ServiceNow and SharePoint.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe certification.
