Scrum Master (Federal): Facilitating Agile practices and enabling high-performing teams to deliver federal digital services with an accent on servant leadership, impediment removal, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on coaching teams on Scrum principles, managing Agile-at-scale activities, and ensuring predictable delivery of user-centered solutions in a government environment.
Location: Hybrid (Washington, DC) - On-site presence required 2–3 days per week. Candidates must reside in one of the 16 licensed US states.
Salary: $107,667 – $181,957

What you will do
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
- Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum practices.
- Identify and remove impediments affecting team progress, coordinating resolution across organizational boundaries.
- Manage Agile tooling environments (Jira, Confluence, Miro) to support transparency and planning.
- Track and report on Agile delivery metrics such as velocity, burndown, throughput, and cycle time.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and government stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and delivery objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or equivalent leadership role.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Demonstrated expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.
- Must be based in one of the following US states: AL, CA, DE, DC, FL, GA, MD, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, or WV.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Miro, and GitHub.
Nice to have
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification.
- Experience supporting DevSecOps environments and CI/CD integration.
- Working knowledge of human-centered design principles.
