What you will do

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of customer and partner agreements.
• Review, redline, and negotiate enterprise and mid-market SaaS contracts.
• Partner with Sales teams to unblock deals quickly while maintaining compliance.
• Maintain and improve contract templates, playbooks, and documentation processes.
• Support HR and employment-related legal matters within the US.
• Coordinate with external counsel and assist with internal compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in Chicago, IL (on-site)
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 3–5 years of hands-on commercial contracting experience, specifically with SaaS agreements.
• Proven ability to negotiate NDAs and deal structures in the $50K–$100K range.
• Strong knowledge of US employment and HR-related legal matters.
• Ability to balance legal risk with business pragmatism in a high-growth environment.
