Salary: $190,000 – $260,000

Runway is building AI world models to simulate the world by merging art and science, specifically focusing on generative AI video.

What you will do

• Lead negotiations for B2B SaaS customer contracts, APIs, DPAs, and strategic partnerships.
• Implement commercial processes, tools, and infrastructure, including improving templates and playbooks.
• Empower the sales team with tools and knowledge to accelerate deal closure.
• Analyze generative AI products to provide informed legal and business advice.
• Monitor technical, legal, and policy developments in the generative AI space.
• Manage outside legal counsel as appropriate.

Requirements

• J.D. and admission in good standing with at least one state bar.
• 6+ years of experience negotiating complex commercial contracts within fast-paced B2B SaaS companies.
• Experience with strategic IP-heavy partnerships and preferably B2C legal issues.
• Strong business acumen, a bias for action, and a growth mindset.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Passion for learning the legal landscape governing the generative AI industry.
