What you will do
- Manage Life Safety Compliance document submissions to meet State and Federal regulatory obligations.
- Conduct fire protection and life-safety-related surveys across diverse building types including ambulatory surgery centers and high-rises.
- Review and analyze compliance data to provide actionable strategic recommendations to facility leaders.
- Maintain and update electronic Statement of Conditions and Basic Building Information records.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align life safety strategies with organizational goals and accreditation standards.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and corrective action plans based on survey findings.
Requirements
- Must be based in Charlotte, NC and able to work 100% in-office.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, engineering, or safety management with 3+ years of related experience.
- Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and SharePoint.
- Ability to interpret Building Maintenance and Life Safety Codes.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 20% of the time for site inspections.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in public health or healthcare administration.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management software (CMS).
- Knowledge of core building equipment including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
