Field Engineer (Safety Certification)

What you will do

• Perform safety and non-safety certification inspections and audits of quality systems on-site.
• Analyze and evaluate examination and test results against UL performance standards.
• Verify accuracy of manufacturers' measuring equipment and review production/inspection records.
• Identify noncompliance variations and facilitate corrective action options with customers.
• Communicate with manufacturers, customers, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction to resolve technical issues.
• Utilize technical instruments such as micrometers, voltmeters, and ammeters for field inspections.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent technical certification in Engineering, Physics, or Industrial Technology.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Denver, CO area.
• General electronics background and strong mechanical aptitude with ability to read schematic diagrams.
• Strong written and verbal communication and client-interfacing skills.
• Ability to work at heights and travel locally and regionally.
• Proficiency in computer skills and conflict resolution.

Nice to have

• Experience in Field Engineering, Compliance, or Quality Engineering.
• ASQ certification.
• Knowledge of UL Standards, specifically 508A (Industrial Control Panels).
• Experience with Lightning Protection.
