Location: Must be based in or able to commute to San Diego, CA (Hybrid: 2-3 days/week in office)
Salary: $120,000 - $149,000

What you will do
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for critical direct materials including resins, electronics, and microfluidic components.
- Lead supplier identification, qualification, and selection in compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate commercial agreements to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams on design-to-cost and value engineering initiatives.
- Monitor global supply markets and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks related to single-source suppliers.
- Ensure supplier agreements include appropriate quality, traceability, and compliance clauses.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- B.S. degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in supply management.
- 3+ years of experience in Medical Device Manufacturing or supply support.
- Experience with contract manufacturing oversight and complex global supply chains.
- Strong knowledge of QSRs/GMPs and Class III device manufacturing.
- Proficiency with ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
