Business Development Representative (Audit/Accounting): Transitioning from public accounting into a high-impact sales role by building outreach strategies and identifying new business opportunities for a leading accounting transformation platform. Focus on leveraging past audit/accounting expertise to engage CFO-level stakeholders, managing the sales pipeline, and converting qualified prospects into demos.

Location: Must be based in Canada (Toronto)

Compensation: $80,000 base salary with an OTE of $110,000.

What you will do

  • Cultivate new business opportunities and create outreach strategies for senior-level finance executives.
  • Identify client barriers and strategize effective solutions using the hirify.global platform.
  • Build robust prospecting lists using internet sources, social media, and inbound leads.
  • Execute outbound communication strategies including phone, email, and social media outreach.
  • Meet activity targets for qualifying calls and scheduling demos for Account Executives.
  • Document all sales activities and progress within Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Past Audit or Accounting experience is REQUIRED to be considered for this role.
  • Must be based in Canada as no visa sponsorship is available.
  • Demonstrated desire to learn new concepts and be coached.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competitive, ambitious, and self-starter attitude.
  • Ability to remain organized and execute in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with cold calling.
  • Experience using Salesforce.
