TL;DR
Key Account Manager (Fintech): Own and grow a portfolio of Affirm’s largest Canadian merchants by building multi-year joint roadmaps, driving commercial negotiations, and ensuring day-to-day execution against KPI targets. Focus on executive-level partnership strategy, cross-functional orchestration across Product/Technical/Credit/Analytics/Risk/Marketing, and data-driven account performance improvements.
Location: Remote (Canada)
Salary: $140,000–$215,000 OTE per year

What you will do
- Own and lead Affirm’s largest Canadian partner relationships, driving growth and long-term strategy across business units.
- Set strategic vision for each relationship and align joint priorities with Affirm goals while influencing senior stakeholders.
- Build and execute sophisticated multi-year account plans covering product integrations, co-marketing, and go-to-market expansion.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations, including contracts, pricing, renewal strategy, and expansion opportunities.
- Analyze partner performance and recommend programs to increase adoption, improve outcomes, and expand into new use cases.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution across Product, Technical, Credit, Analytics, Marketing, Risk, and other internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in Canada
- 7+ years of B2B client-facing experience, preferably in a tech or fintech environment.
- Proven ability to lead and grow complex strategic partnerships at the executive level.
- Experience driving cross-functional, multi-stakeholder initiatives with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for proposals, memos, emails, and executive presentations.
- Experience structuring, negotiating, and closing large-scale commercial contracts.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of consumer finance offerings, SaaS solutions, and e-commerce.
- Comfort using Salesforce, AI, and BI tools.
