Operations Strategy and Planning Manager (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; hybrid

Salary: $171,000–$229,000 per year, plus an equity package

What you will do

• Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles for the global Fleet Operations function, defining milestones, owners, and dependencies.
• Analyze fleet performance data, operational metrics, and capacity trends to produce strategic recommendations.
• Build headcount models and manage budget planning with Finance and People teams.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives, including new operational capabilities, commercial program launches, and global expansions.
• Coordinate regional fleet operations teams, surface blockers, and maintain consistent execution against shared goals.
• Prepare leadership reviews, board updates, OKR tracking, and the operating cadence for the function.

Requirements

• MBA or equivalent advanced degree, with experience in top-tier management consulting or strategy and operations at a high-growth technology company.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including working with large datasets, building models, and supporting data-driven decisions.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives from scoping through delivery in fast-paced environments.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting clear frameworks to senior leadership.
• Experience leading annual planning, headcount modelling, and budget management in a scaling organization.
• Ability to work autonomously while staying aligned with leadership priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience in operations strategy, fleet management, or logistics within technology or mobility.
• Familiarity with autonomous vehicles, advanced mobility, or deep-tech environments.
• Experience with OKR frameworks, financial modelling, scenario planning, or business case development.
• Proficiency with Tableau, Looker, SQL, or equivalent analytics and data visualization tools.
• Experience working across international teams and managing global operational complexity.
