What you will do
- Coordinate end-to-end software and autonomy engineering releases across engineering, validation, safety, DevOps, and deployment teams.
- Track scope, dependencies, risks, timelines, quality, and release readiness while providing status updates on release, project, and program progress.
- Facilitate collaboration across autonomy, engineering, safety, legal, business, product, customer operations, finance, and strategy stakeholders.
- Lead production incident management, including impact assessment, stakeholder communication, remediation tracking, containment, and resolution.
- Own hotfix and commercial-fix release lanes and direct urgent mitigation and corrective releases in a controlled, auditable manner.
- Use incident and root-cause analysis findings to improve release planning, validation coverage, and delivery processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; an engineering, computer science, or similarly technical degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience as an engineer or in another highly technical area.
- At least 5 years of technical project management experience, including team management, project planning, status reporting, and risk management.
- Experience leading complex, multi-team release programs and production incident or emergency-response workflows.
- Ability to clarify and document ambiguous requirements and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of software and hardware development lifecycles, integration processes, and test and validation complexity.
