Senior Program Manager, Perception Data Operations

Location: Mountain View, California (HQ)

Salary: $132,000–$198,000 annual base pay, plus performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Translate perception feature requirements into detailed data collection, annotation, and delivery plans across vision, LiDAR, radar, and other sensor modalities.
• Own the end-to-end labeling process and coordinate external annotation partners.
• Manage vendor allocation, budgets, throughput, quality, latency, and volume against milestone and release timelines.
• Track outcomes, risks, and data quality across perception data pipelines.
• Identify root causes of isolated labeling errors and systemic process failures, then drive corrective action.
• Query databases with SQL to analyze throughput and quality metrics and produce reporting independently.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or Operations Strategy.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs in technology, autonomous driving, or AI/ML.
• Experience translating product and engineering roadmaps into operational execution plans with explicit resource and throughput modeling.
• Experience overseeing large-scale vendors or managed service providers against quality, latency, and volume targets.
• Proficiency with SQL for database queries, throughput analysis, and reporting.
• Experience defining quality standards and holding vendors accountable to them.

Nice to have

• Background in autonomous vehicles, robotics, computer vision, or ML model training.
• Experience in ML engineering, data engineering, or technical consulting.
• Experience improving data quality or throughput at scale with measurable results.
• Familiarity with LiDAR, radar, camera, and thermal sensor data annotation.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
