Salary: $250,000–$290,000

What you will do

• Lead and grow the Docs engineering team responsible for the developer-facing documentation platform.
• Act as a player/coach by writing code, reviewing architecture, and setting technical direction.
• Own execution, quality, and team health using a TypeScript/Next.js stack on Vercel.
• Engage directly with customers to gather feedback and drive product improvements.
• Mentor engineers and maintain a high bar for technical quality.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a startup environment.
• Hands-on expertise with TypeScript, Next.js, and modern frontend infrastructure.
• Proven track record of shipping products through teams and recruiting strong engineering talent.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week in New York City.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with API development, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and Kubernetes.
• Prior experience in a SaaS or cloud-based environment.
• Passion for building scalable, high-performance systems.
