Experienced Yield Enhancement Technician / Tool Owner (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Monitor wafer yield metrics, identify trends and excursions, and investigate systematic defects.
• Perform root cause analysis using defect inspection, SPC charts, inline data, end-of-line data, and yield management systems.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve yield and reduce process variation.
• Own assigned inspection tools, including KLA2367, SP1/2, Puma, and Altair, while driving uptime, availability, performance, and OEE.
• Qualify tools after maintenance, upgrades, and process changes to confirm production readiness.
• Collaborate with process and integration engineers, maintenance technicians, and operations teams; train operators and junior technicians.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment engineering, or yield improvement.
• Experience with SPC, FDC, yield management systems, semiconductor defect inspection, and metrology tools.
• Knowledge of semiconductor process areas such as lithography, etch, or deposition.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, root cause analysis, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a semiconductor fabrication cleanroom, wear cleanroom attire, lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and support shift work, on-call coverage, or extended hours when required.
