Intel Foundry Process Integration and Yield Technician (Metrology)

Location: Onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States. Regular onsite presence is required. Night Shift 4 runs Sunday–Tuesday plus every other Saturday, 7:30 PM–8:00 AM.

Salary: $60,450–$85,340 USD annually for an hourly role.

What you will do

• Support semiconductor manufacturing by monitoring tool and process performance, identifying defects, and assisting with yield investigations.
• Classify defects, evaluate inspection and test results, and investigate root causes of yield loss.
• Review process data, follow up on out-of-specification conditions, and support process stability.
• Operate and support semiconductor process and inspection equipment according to standard procedures and quality requirements.
• Collect, analyze, and document production and inspection data for defect reduction and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams on troubleshooting, corrective actions, and nonstandard events.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a STEM-related field, or a high school diploma/GED plus at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant experience may include electronic, avionics, or mechanical troubleshooting; electronic systems operation; equipment testing, maintenance, or repair; or scientific, analytical, or laboratory work.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Office Suite, basic computer skills, and basic networking.
• Ability to work night shifts with consistent attendance in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, disciplined process execution, troubleshooting ability, independent judgment, and cross-functional communication skills.
• This position is onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon, and is not eligible for hirify.global immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in a semiconductor-related STEM discipline.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing workflows, quality assurance, inline metrology tools, and statistical process control methodologies.
• Experience with continuous improvement, peer training or mentoring, and mask or wafer manufacturing.
