What you will do
- Build, manage, and close a pipeline of companies for dbt Cloud offerings.
- Deepen the dbt Cloud footprint within existing accounts to optimize impact.
- Engage with technology partners and service providers to expand reach in the region.
- Lead and contribute to team projects focused on improving sales processes.
- Collaborate with product teams to maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.
- Focus on consistent pipeline generation and management.
Requirements
- 4+ years of closing experience in technology sales with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into consultative sales strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders from individual developers to CTOs.
- Organizational skills to manage long, intricate sales cycles involving multiple teams.
- Must be based in Japan.
- Experience with SQL or a willingness to learn.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software.
- Knowledge of or prior experience with dbt.
