What you will do

• Build and analyze financial models and pricing scenarios for standard and non-standard agreements, including pricing, discounting, term length, usage commitments, and gross margin impact.
• Partner with Sales to structure commercially sound deals by evaluating tradeoffs across price, volume, and risk within Twilio’s financial guardrails.
• Act as a guardrail and educator for Sales and GTM teams on contracting policies, approval matrices, and discount governance.
• Own the end-to-end Deal Desk workflow in Salesforce/CPQ (quote building and pricing approvals through Order Form creation, DocuSign execution, and opportunity closure) with 100% data integrity and policy compliance.
• Collaborate with Commercial Legal, Billing Operations, Corporate Finance, and Sales to streamline deal velocity and align non-standard contract language with risk and revenue recognition policies.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve Deal Desk operations, systems, and internal workflows.

Requirements

• English: Business proficiency or fluency with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• BS/Associate’s degree plus 3+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Deal Desk, or an analytical Go To Market role; or 5+ years of relevant analytical experience if no degree.
• Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to explain financial tradeoffs clearly.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including building financial models, logic formulas, and scenario analyses.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple high-velocity requests under tight deadlines.
• Self-starter with high integrity and comfort asking clarifying questions.
