What you will do

• Architect and design high-performance fire protection and life safety systems, including automatic sprinklers, special hazard suppression, and alarm systems.
• Perform and approve complex hydraulic calculations and water supply analyses to ensure system performance.
• Conduct thorough building and life safety code analyses based on NFPA and ICC standards.
• Lead and direct the work of junior engineers, ensuring the technical accuracy of all drawings and specifications.
• Partner with mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering teams to integrate fire protection requirements into project scopes.
• Travel internationally (approx. 10–15%) to support design validation, construction oversight, and final commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in fire protection systems design and engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License (Fire Protection specialty) is highly preferred.
• Expert-level knowledge of NFPA and International Building/Fire Codes.
• Authorized to work in the US; subject to E-Verify requirements.
