What you will do

• Lead the development, execution, and refinement of high-fidelity CFD models using FDS for fire dynamics and heat transfer.
• Partner with experimental testing teams to design programs and produce validation datasets.
• Integrate experimental findings into model validation and improvement frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers to shape CFD best practices.
• Author and review technical reports, proposals, and peer-reviewed publications.
• Represent the company as a thought leader at professional conferences and with clients.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in engineering with a focus on thermal-fluid sciences.
• 15+ years of professional experience applying CFD tools (including FDS) to fire dynamics and fluid-flow problems.
• Deep working knowledge of FDS Validation, Technical Reference, and User Guides.
• Advanced understanding of radiation transport, gas-phase absorption, and pyrolysis modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and Fortran or similar scientific programming languages.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
