Fire Alarm Systems Engineering Services Manager

Location: Lake Buena Vista, Florida, United States; fully on-site. Ability to work any shift, including third shift, holidays, weekends, and overnights. Monthly 24/7 on-call Duty Manager responsibility is required.

Salary: $92,400–$123,800 per year in Orlando, Florida, plus potential bonus and/or long-term incentive units.

What you will do

• Lead approximately 40 fire alarm technicians responsible for testing, inspection, and maintenance across the property.
• Manage daily work schedules, staff development, performance assessments, and operational priorities.
• Advise property partners on upgrades, installations, modifications, repairs, and construction affecting fire alarm control panels and systems.
• Apply NFPA standards, the Florida Fire Prevention Code, and industry best practices to improve service and system applications.
• Review technical information, alarm software, reporting, drawings, specifications, maintenance schedules, and financial data to support management decisions.
• Maintain relationships with partners, peers, cast members, and customers while balancing multiple high-priority assignments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of leadership experience overseeing fire alarm system testing, inspection, maintenance, and interfaces.
• Experience with Siemens and Edwards System Technologies fire alarm control panels, alarm software, reporting, proprietary on-site monitoring, and Maximo or similar systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA 25, NFPA 70, NFPA 72, NFPA 90A, and the current Florida Fire Prevention Code.
• Ability to read and interpret fire alarm drawings and technical specifications, manage complex spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel, and apply financial management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, building construction, or equivalent experience; valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to work on-site across any shift, including holidays, weekends, overnights, and third shift, with monthly 24/7 on-call Duty Manager coverage.

Nice to have

• 10 or more years of leadership experience in fire alarm system testing and inspection.
• Florida Electrical Fire Unlimited or Electrical Contractor license.
• NICET 2 certification.
• Fire Alarm System Agent/Burglar Alarm System Agent certification.
