Sr. Consultant Fire Protection

Location: Remote in the United States; position associated with Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Northeast USA

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Plan and direct engineering, budgeting, scheduling, and project management activities.
• Conduct building and fire code reviews and technical analyses.
• Prepare and present technical reports and fire protection engineering strategies.
• Support projects involving life safety, fire protection, security, and mass notification.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, preferably fire protection engineering.
• Minimum eight years of experience, including code consulting, smoke control design and commissioning, or fire protection system design.
• Experience with project management and fire protection engineering.
• Excellent report-writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with fire suppression and alarm system design and performance-based strategies.
• Registered Fire Protection Engineer credentials in New York, New Jersey, or New England are strongly desired.

Nice to have

• New York or Massachusetts fire and building code experience.
