Location: Remote within the United States or from various US office locations. Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.

What you will do
- Support projects related to the education of students with disabilities and special education systems-level work.
- Review, synthesize, and organize research, policy, and guidance relevant to special education leadership.
- Develop tools, materials, presentations, and briefs for internal and external audiences.
- Analyze problems of practice and identify evidence-based strategies to improve outcomes for youth with disabilities.
- Collaborate with project staff to monitor timelines and communicate progress on internship activities.
- Complete a culminating project aligned with NCSI priorities.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a doctoral program in special education, educational leadership, public policy, disability studies, or a related field.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship available).
- Demonstrated interest in leadership, policy, or systems improvement related to special education.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for synthesizing information for diverse audiences.
- Experience with literature reviews, policy analysis, or data-informed decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid or remote professional environment.
